Faculty Association Proud to Support Holiday Events That Build Community and Spread Cheer

During the holiday season, the Faculty Association of Red Deer Polytechnic (FARDP) was delighted to sponsor several holiday events that brought joy and fostered a sense of community on campus.

The annual Trades Pancake Breakfast is a much-anticipated event where faculty and staff gather to connect and celebrate the season in a festive atmosphere. This cherished tradition also has a greater purpose—to support our Students’ Association Food Bank. This worthy cause aligns with our commitment to addressing food insecurity for the students who are central to our roles here. Thanks to the generosity of RDP faculty and staff, we received an overflowing bin of food donations along with $1300 in cash donations!

FARDP was equally thrilled to sponsor the RDP Children’s Christmas Party. This event brought holiday cheer to the families of our campus community. Supporting this event underscores our commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that values and celebrates the families of our faculty and staff.

We’re grateful to be part of these initiatives and look forward to continuing to support events that strengthen connections within our faculty and campus community.
